Discipleship Pastor

OVERVIEW

Redeemer Fellowship holds tightly to the core commitments of gospel centrality, biblical sufficiency, family diversity, engaged community, and kingdom generosity. As a church of roughly 120 in current weekly average attendance, their various ministry endeavors are heavily Word-based with five weekly Bible studies, a thriving Youth ministry and monthly gatherings for both men and those inclined towards the original biblical languages.

They are seeking an Associate Pastor of Discipleship with a shepherd’s heart and a desire to see others grow in the gospel and their understanding of God’s Word. The Associate Pastor of Discipleship at Redeemer Fellowship will be someone who is able to discern the spiritual maturity of all RFK members and provide them a pathway forward in their walk with Christ.

The Associate Pastor will focus on ensuring all members of RFK are growing in their understanding of the Gospel and God’s Word through engagement in meaningful community, one-on-one relationships (mentor/mentee), and active participation in the ministries of the church. He will also maintain an overall view of all that RFK provides for the health and maturity of its members. Those applicants from outside Kuwait will need to assume they are expected to come with their own financial support secured. This support should be gathered and managed by a third-party non-profit organization.

Unfortunately, RFK is not able to provide visas for pastoral staff at this time. This issue will be discussed with applicants who are considered strong candidates for the position.
