OVERVIEW
On October 26-28, 2026 the inaugural Great Commission Congress will be held in Bangkok, Thailand. This Congress is not a typical conference. It is a gathering of pastors, elders, mission leaders and sending churches seeking to anchor global missions more firmly in the life and oversight of the local church by strengthening the theological foundations of global missions. The focus is simple but urgent: healthy churches are essential for healthy missions. Over three days, you will explore how the biblical gospel and ecclesiology shape sending, preparation, and long-term missionary faithfulness.
The theme will unfold over the course of the Congress as plenary sessions focused on key components of faithful missions are led by faithful pastors and practitioners, including Mark Dever, alongside leaders serving across Asia, Africa, Europe, and the Middle East. There will also be focused panel discussions on issues such as:
Why do good churches send bad missionaries?
Why do missionaries leave the field?
Movements, Methods, and the Mess of Modern Missions
