OVERVIEW
If you are a pastor in the Texas area planning to attend the SBTC (and even you’re not), you are invited to come to Feed My Sheep and be encouraged with good preaching and fellowship. This one-day conference is being held in conjunction with the 2026 SBTC Annual Meeting (October 26-27 in Forney, TX) on October 26 and will be focused on 2 Corinthians 4:1-18. The ministry of the word is God’s means of discipling Christians and evangelizing the lost. Pastors, then, should give themselves to faithful, wise, and bold ministry of the word, especially when persecution, opposition, and discouragement come as God has ordained our weak yet confident Word ministry, “to show that the surpassing power belongs to God and not to us” (2 Cor 4:7). Thus, the goal of this conference is to encourage pastors in two ways: to maintain their commitment to the clear preaching of God’s word while resisting the temptation to use worldly means to accomplish God’s purposes and to endure in ministry in the face of suffering.
