OVERVIEW

Wilkesboro Baptist Church in Wilkesboro, NC is currently seeking a full-time Minister of Musical Worship to lead congregational worship and serve in other worship ministry related roles. WBC is a spiritually healthy and growing multi-generational congregation led by a plurality of elders with a long-tenured pastoral and ministerial staff with the belief that personal and corporate worship are essential to their mission of leading their neighbors and the nations to follow Jesus.  

RESPONISBILITIES

  • Organizing unified congregational worship in three Sunday morning services

  • Leading mid-week worship team and choir rehearsals

  • Working with team-oriented staff and elders to enhance participation in musical worship for all generations at WBC 

  • Meeting musical worship values including (but not limited to) Christ-centered, congregationally-engaged, biblically-framed, and generationally-appealing worship

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Five years of ministry experience with a minimum of a B.A. in Music or Sacred Music is preferred.
