OVERVIEW

The purpose of Battleground Community Church is to Glorify God through Christ-exalting worship as we grow together in biblical community while going with the gospel to all people(s). The Kids Ministry Leader is an extension to this very purpose statement and has the responsibility of leading the children of Battleground Community Church to experience Christ-exalting worship, laying a Gospel-saturated foundation, while modeling community and mission.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Provides leadership and oversight of Sunday morning environments for children in Nursery, Preschool, and Elementary.

  • Responsible for leading, training, and recruiting volunteers for Kids Ministry

  • Responsible for managing the annual Kids Ministry and Childcare budget

  • Responsible for purchasing and organizing Kids Ministry supplies

REQUIREMENTS

  • Committed to the theology, vision, and purpose of Battleground Community Church

  • Demonstrates a willingness to grow spiritually and displays a personal faith in Jesus Christ as Lord

  • Committed to recruiting, training, organizing, and motivating volunteers

  • A servant-hearted team leader who is friendly, enthusiastic, and flexible
