Campus Director

OVERVIEW

FBC Mount Pleasant in Mount Pleasant, SC is seeking a full-time Campus Director to help oversee and manage all FBC-owned properties and assets, including their Coastal Christian Preparatory School facilities. This role reports to the Senior Pastor and is part of the Ministry Team at FBC so it requires taking on other duties and responsibilities as needed.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Must be a professing Christian

  • Minimum of five years of experience in one of a diverse variety of vocational careers or professional experience, including: building facilities, business and/or management, information technology, construction management, or building-related engineering (civil, electrical, mechanical, etc.)

  • Minimum of three to five years of supervisory experience

  • High School Diploma or equivalency

  • Associates or higher degrees are advantageous, especially in a field of study specific to building or building systems

  • Good oral and written communicator

  • Experience in planning, organization, time-management, prioritization, and budget management

  • Ability to lead and manage through teamwork and collaboration

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Oversee and manage all FBC-owned properties and assets: main and off-campus locations

  • Facilitate the use of the FBC and CCPS campus in all facets of ministry and school functions

  • Review, approve requests, schedule, and support all activities for FBC and CCPS

  • Participate in the setup and cleanup of FBC and CCPS facility use (both indoor and outdoor)

  • Supervise and manage contractors, volunteers, and all levels of Facilities Staff

  • Manage and review outside contracts for all facility systems and verify completed work by outside vendors and contractors

  • Maintain and review all leases and facility-use contracts

  • Conduct regular facility inspections ensuring all maintenance needs are properly monitored and taken care of

  • Develop and update a comprehensive maintenance plan for each FBC-owned asset, identifying systems age, expected life span, and expected replacement

  • Develop and ensure that security and emergency preparedness procedures are implemented properly

  • Aid in the development of annual budgets

  • Oversee the expenditure of all facility expenses

  • Advise on energy efficiency and cost-effectiveness in building systems

  • Oversee any capital improvement building projects, renovations, and refurbishments on FBC-owned assets
