OVERVIEW
Him We Proclaim is a one-day preaching conference for all who preach or teach God’s Word designed to encourage and refresh all who attend as they gather with others engaged in the same great labor and hear faithful, Christ-exalting preaching. The hope is that each participant leaves better equipped to carry out the high calling of preaching and teaching the Scriptures. This conference is designed to be part preaching, part theology of preaching, and part practical nuts and bolts for those who labor in the Word.
The theme of this year’s conference is Christ-Centered Exposition. In John 5, Jesus says, “You search the Scriptures because you think that in them you have eternal life; and it is they that bear witness about me.” This conference will explore how all of Scripture truly bears witness to Christ and how to faithfully put Him on display from every text. Some sessions will focus on developing a Christ-centered hermeneutic modeled after Jesus and the apostles, while others will feature seasoned preachers showing how they proclaim Christ from particular passages.
