Worship Leader

OVERVIEW

The Church at Perry Creek of Raleigh, NC is seeking a full-time position comprising two roles that reports to the senior pastor. This role is a combination of worship leader and associate ministry leader responsibilities. Approximately 25 hours a week will be devoted to leading a vibrant, organized worship program that develops worship team members into leaders who work as a Spirit-led team to bring the church into the worship of the Living God. Approximately 15 hours a week will be devoted to a secondary leadership position based on the candidate’s experience and gifting.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Foster a spirit of worship by creating an atmosphere that encourages and facilitates worship

• Lead and equip others to lead congregational singing

• Lead and coordinate worship services

• Select and arrange worship songs in a way that creates a cohesive and impactful worship flow

• Schedule all music participants and lead rehearsals during the week and Sunday morning pre-service

• Recruit, support, and mentor worship team members

• Recruit, train, and schedule audio, lighting, and visual teams

• Ensure the service is filmed and quality sound and video files are available for the communications team

• Continuously develop musical skills and knowledge

• Participate in worship planning meetings and staff meetings

• Other tasks as assigned.
