OVERVIEW

The overall responsibility of the Minister of Worship and Discipleship at Midwood is to support the mission and vision of the church by helping lead God’s people in gospel rich, biblical worship and growth in their discipleship. The Minister of Worship/Discipleship will arrange music, schedule volunteers, and lead congregational worship music on a weekly basis. The Minister of Worship and Discipleship will also help the Senior Pastor with weekly discipleship and teaching.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Believer: A born-again believer in Jesus Christ.

  • Christ Follower: Maintains an active walk with Christ through the practice of spiritual disciplines.

  • Member: Pursues church membership.

  • Character: Seeks to be humble, demonstrates servant leadership, and willingness to work hard.

  • Team-Minded: Willing to work in cooperation with the pastor, deacons, ministry leaders, and volunteers in all facets of church life.

COMPENSATION

  • $22,500 a year
