OVERVIEW

Cross Community Church in Beaufort, SC is seeking a full-time Pastor of Worship Ministries who will provide organizational and administrative oversight to the musical worship ministries of the church in such a way that helps the church fulfill their mission of glorifying God by preaching the gospel and making disciples of all nations. The Pastor of Worship Ministries is an ordained minister who will also fulfill other pastoral responsibilities as a member of the elder team under the direct oversight of the lead pastor, teaching team, and elders.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Ideally have at least 5 years of full-time ministry experience leading musical worship within a local church context

  • Minimum of a Master’s Degree from an accredited Bible college or theological institution (preferably in the areas of pastoral or worship ministry)

  • Must be willing and able to joyfully affirm, champion, and defend all essential doctrines and theological distinctives upheld by the church

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Leading musical worship

  • Fulfill general pastoral responsibilities and be involved within the teaching ministry of the church

  • Provide organizational and administrative oversight to worship ministry staff, leaders, and teams
