Pastoral Assistant of Worship and Discipleship

OVERVIEW

Christ Community Church of Harker Heights, TX is seeking a full-time Pastoral Assistant of Worship and Discipleship. The PA for worship and discipleship will work closely with the Pastors of Christ Community Church and will be involved in the general care of the church members. They are a reformed Southern Baptist Church and a member of the Pillar Network. They emphasize exegetical preaching, promote the importance of community within the body, and encourage every believer to be a missionary in their context. 

Harker Heights is located in Central Texas on Interstate 14. They are approximately 1 hour north of Austin and 2 hours south of Dallas. Their church facility is strategically located across the street from the local YMCA and a local park. They are placed in a high residential area close to many schools. Their community is situated close to Ft. Hood, one of the largest military installations in the world. This creates a unique opportunity to train up believers who will be sent across the country and around the world.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Deacon and/or Elder qualified

• Qualified man capable of leading worship services and executing the discipleship plan the Elders have established

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Lead the worship ministry and discipleship programs of Christ Community Church

• Help plan and lead the music ministry

• Recruit and train team members for the worship and A/V teams

• Oversee the adult discipleship programs of the church
